Tomi Fay
Tomi Fay re-created the MacDiarmad Tunnel, on the Canadian Northern Railroad in Ontario which her civil engineer grandfather helped build in 1912. She has his diaries and has followed his railroad work.
Marge
When Marge showed all of us what she planned to do, it was radically different than the landscapes we envisioned creating. Marge's flowers are simply incredible. She is an artist with fabric and with paints. She also shared her keen eye for design with others of us who really appreciated her help.
Shirley
The combination of the fabric and the perfect coloring by Shirley, with the contrast of the dark trees and well-placed rocks makes this quilt stunning.
Carol
Official reminder. This is a schoolhouse, not a barn! Note the cupola for the school bell. The Nancy's Notions hay field fabric with the barbed wire fence makes the perfect setting. The border will highlight the schoolhouse and make it sing!
Pat Z
Pat wants you to know that she is not yet done! Neither are the rest of us. We look forward to the completion of all our quilts.
Doris
Doris was the grand prize winner. When I told her all my sons do four-wheeling, she said, "They can't drive on my quilt." Don't you just want to grab a Jeep and take off into her woods?
Trish
Saturday morning Trish had a window. We all turned to listen to Natalie for a few minutes, and suddenly Trish's quilt had blossomed! Thanks for bringing your mom along, Trish.
Lynn
On Saturday morning Lyn took all her leaves off and completely started over. The results are well worth the work.
Rosemary
This is a great example of Natalie's suggestion to turn a fabric over and use the wrong side. Rosemary did that with her path, making it more subtle. A nice touch.
Below is the panel Rosemary bought and stitched to practice her free motion quilting skills. Nice work!

Kathi
Kathi wants to make sure you see this with the border. She is sure she will finish the quilt.... soon....? Maybe more quickly than the stained glass piece that took a few years? We all have plenty of unfinished projects, don't we?
Kathleen
Kathleen created an entire mountain range. Look at the depth created by the different colors of mountains.
Janet
Janet's daughter Trish convinced her to take the class. Janet's work is stunning. Reminder: Listen to your kids - they usually know you well enough to give you good guidance!
Jacki
Jacki, whose mother lives in the shadow of Mt. Saint Helen's, loves the snow-capped mountains of the northwest and of Alaska.
Marilyn
Marilyn took a day off as a team member of Nancy's Notions and joined the class. Her tree of white blossoms sparkles.
Victoria
Victoria's Quilt:
This is the quilt that looks the least like the original photo! Victoria traveled around the world in one day to create this quilt which so beautifully reflects her heritage.
